BIO
Ballet and Modern while also maintaing my training at Just Off Broadway. During my time at SCPA, I participated in various repertoire shows, classical ballets, collaborative projects with the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Museum, and obtained international recognition while being a cast member of The SCPA Dance Ensemble Italy Tour in 2015. In 2016, I received the prestigious Corbett-Mayerson Scholarship Award that gave me notable recognition in my school and the Cincinnati arts community. In addition to my training, I spent several weeks involved in intensives including Joffery Ballet (NYC and LA), Broadway Dance Center’s Intensive with Tracie Sanfield, and Pace University`s Fall Intensive, while also taking advantage of many master class opportunities. These intensives and master classes really helped shape me as a developing artist and person while putting me on a direct pathway to improvement.

At Ohio State, I have found my interest in arts administration in dance. I am passionate about community outreach through dance and feel that focusing on administration will enable me to purse this. I am excited to declare my minor as arts entrepreneurship and begin building my personalized focus towards arts administration through new experiences and opportunities given to me through Ohio State.

ARTIST STATEMENT
Dance is an opportunity for growth and strength within myself. As a dancer coming from a diverse training background in competition and concert dance, I try at most to use all of my tools from my experiences to keep growing and developing into the dancer I strive to be every day. It is important to me that I stay engaged and always have a moment in my dance training that reminds me of why I am a dancer. Commitment and hard work fuel my motivation to develop a strong sense in who I am as an artist and mover.
In my time spent as a BFA at The Ohio State University Department of Dance, I am excited to investigate and take advantage of every opportunity given to me and create a new career pathway for myself. I strive to set goals physically, artistically, and intellectually for myself and to create a career pathway with all the tools I inhibit in my education.
